The home building process can be very intimidating, especially for the first-time homeowner. Here is how we work with you to help you realize your custom dream home.

  • Meet & Understand Your Needs

    We’ll schedule an initial consultation with you either in person, or over the phone to discuss what you’re looking for in a custom home

  • Choose a Location

    We’ll recommend a location to build your new custom home based on our understanding of your budget and needs. Envision Builders has an intimate knowledge of the greater-Baltimore area and exclusive access to home lots and locations

  • Choose a Home Plan

    Once you’ve chosen a home site we’ll provide options for a base home plan that will be used to begin the design of your custom home.

  • Customize Your Home

    Once we’ve chosen a base plan, we’ll work with you on customizations to make it your own including kitchen, bathroom, flooring and window preferences, outdoor living amenities and minor design tweaks

  • Secure Financing

    Once the project and timeline is completely outlined we’ll work with one of many lending institutions that we have relationships with to finance the construction of your new custom home in a way that works with your budget

  • Build Your Home

    Once the design is complete and financing is in place, we’ll build your custom home overseeing every step from laying the foundation to the last screw and ensure compliance with our high standards for quality construction

  • Move In

    Once construction is completed and meets our standards for quality, we hand over the keys and you’re officially a proud new home owner

  • Warranty Support

    We’ll help you with any possible issues with your new home through our new home warranty provided by Professional Warranty Service Corporation (PWSC)

How expensive is building a home?

The total cost to build a custom home is variable and depends on the community, home plan and size, customizations and financing terms that are agreed upon. Envision Builders understands all of these factors inside and out and diligently works to bring costs down, passing savings on to our customers for an affordable custom home

How long does building a custom home take?

The amount of time it takes to build a custom home is dependant on the home plan and customizations chosen. Generally new home construction ranges from 4-6 months with homes requiring a lot of customization towards the longer end of that range.

What should I look for in a Home Plan?

When choosing a plan for a custom home it’s important to consider some of the following factors: How many bedrooms will your family need now and in the future? What is the size of the home compared to the community/lot that you’ve chosen? Are there any “non-negotiables” such as a fireplace, second den etc? Envision Builders works with you to identify all potential factors and feel confident in your ultimate choice for a home plan.

What community should I build a home in?

When choosing a home site and community, you should consider things like proximity to local schools and parks, shopping, roads and commuting to work and how important each of these are to where you live.
