After over 4 months of struggling to find the right home for our family, we came across a listing for a house that Envision Builders had just started renovating. Location? Check. Price point? Check. The fact that we’d be included in the material selection process during the renovation? Check.
Guidance and Transparency at Every Step
When we first saw the property, the walls and wires were exposed, walls were being torn down, and carpet was being ripped up. Matt did an incredible job walking us through the vision for the home and making sure we understood the level of detail. He patiently answered our questions and it was easy to see that this would be the home for us.
As soon as we were under contract, the Envision Builders team wasted no time bringing us into the process to make selections for the materials. We had a consultation to discuss everything including trim color, floor stain, cabinet style, appliances down to the orientation of the kitchen sink. What impressed us was their ability to stick to the budget that was set forth within our contract. Not once during the process were we given an unexpected cost increase. The materials we selected from were all within budget, and if we had opted for a higher grade material, they were very clear on the difference and gave us the option to move forward or not.
Communication Throughout the Entire Renovation Process
Equally impressive was their communication throughout the renovation. After selections were made and it was onto the build, their site manager, Aaron, kept us in the loop with progress photos, email updates, and confirmation emails about our selections. We never felt like we didn’t know what was going on and were able to fully trust that the team had it all under control.
We experienced the quality of their craftsmanship and partnership throughout each step of the process, and without the stress that a brand new construction may bring. The result is a beautifully restored home, completely updated.
